There’s a lot of talk these years about self-love and body-positivity, which has become the most politically correct Manifesto of almost all female brands. It sounds great, but what does it actually mean? How do we love ourselves- and why does it matter?

In our opinion, self-love means that you accept yourself fully, treat yourself with kindness and respect, and nurture your growth and wellbeing. Self-love encompasses not only how you treat yourself but also your thoughts and feelings about yourself.

To accept yourself means to accept your body, no matter what kind of body and skin you have. When you love yourself, you will have a comprehensive and positive view of yourself (including your body, your boobs of course) - this is what we often call body positivity now.

Women's bodies are different, tall or short, fat or thin, with full or Petite breasts. And they will change due to physiological cycle, eating habits and some diseases. Women's breasts may also have problems such as sagging, outspread and asymmetry, which may affect their confidence.

Self-love means to accept the true appearance of your body without fear of worldly judgements, to understand one's own advantages and disadvantages and internal needs, and to know what one's own value. 「I love myself just the way I am.」As a woman, as an individual, this is supposed to be ingrained in our daily lives.  

The attitude towards lingerie should also get rid of "his aesthetic", actively embrace “my aesthetic”, and learn to identify what you really need.

But does self-love or self-acceptance means being lazy and not thinking about change? Are those who are active in building up their bodies and improving their appearance not confident or self loving? To dress up to avoid weaknesses and to modify the figure through clothing, is it should to be accused of hypocrisy?

This is obviously over correction. Loving yourself is not contradictory to setting goals and working for them - as long as the premise is to make yourself more healthy, comfortable and confident, aware of your own beauty and uniqueness.
